Click here for more information. CAPTIONING ACTION ALERT Closed Captioning is an issue very close to the deaf and hard of hearing citizens of New Mexico. Please write the US Department of Education and ask that they continue funding for captioning television programs. "Captioning is an very important issue to over 28 million deaf and hard of hearing Americans," said Kelby Brick, Director of the National Association of the Deaf Law and Advocacy Center.
